Invictus
Out of the night
that covers me,
Black as a pit from
pole to pole,
I thank whatever
gods may be
For my unconquerable
soul.
In the fell clutch
of circumstance
I have not winced
nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings
of chance,
My head is bloody,
but unbowed.
Beyond this place
of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror
of a shade,
And yet the menace
of the years
Finds, and shall
find, me unafraid.
It matters not how
straight the gate,
How charged with
punishments the scroll,
I am the master of
my fate:
I am the captain
of my soul.

Here's
a nice prayer that would
really
work for most religions.
Hopefully coming soon:
1. My Music Page
2. My Book Page
3. My Friend's Homepage
(As soon as I help her make it.)
4. And just much more
added to existing pages.
A lot of graphics and other things on my page came from other places.
I'm sorry if I've taken something that belongs to you. I'll be glad to
put your name here or I'll take the image, etc. off.
